Verdant Brews

About the Game

Verdant Brews is a cozy potion-brewing shop simulator where you serve customers by crafting drinks from mysterious ingredients. Each ingredient affects different potion qualities, so experimenting with combinations is key to creating the perfect brew.

During the game you will meet a variety of unique customers visiting your shop with different requests. By carefully selecting ingredients and balancing their effects, you try to craft drinks that satisfy their needs before time runs out.

The gameplay focuses on a simple but engaging loop of reading dialogue, mixing ingredients, and serving potions, all presented through a UI-driven interface inspired by games like Coffee Talk and Strange Horticulture.

Goal of the Game

Your goal is to brew potions that match customer requests as closely as possible. Successful potions increase your score and extend the available time, allowing you to serve more customers. Try to achieve the highest score before the timer runs out!

Controls

PC

• Mouse click – Select ingredients and interact with UI
• Mouse hover – View qualities of ingredients

Android

• Tap – Select ingredients and interact with UI
• Hold – View qualities of ingredients

The game is fully UI-based and designed to work on both PC and mobile devices.

All other artwork, UI design, and code were created specifically for this project by me. I did however take some inspiration with the character designs in game Strange Horticulture.
